Legal matters
Every healthcare provider is obliged to adhere to legal rules. This is not always easy to digest. The NVA supports its members by following and sharing information about laws and regulations through the member portal and the Huang Ti. In addition, acupuncturists can use instructions, texts, and sample forms. Tough legal information often sticks better with anonymous stories and practical examples.
Regulations
The regulations of the NVA are naturally closely related to existing laws and regulations. In case of complaints, this is the Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act for Healthcare (Wkkgz). The Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO) plays an important role in mandatory practice visits and appointments in the practice. Of course, acupuncturists must comply with the privacy law GDPR.
The NVA and the Law
