Accreditation acupuncture training
The Department of Education and Science determines the pre-training requirements for membership of the NVA. The department also oversees the quality of acupuncture training. An important guideline for this is the Professional Training Profile, which describes the knowledge and skills an acupuncturist must possess. An accredited acupuncture training program provides at least the described training and also has the flexibility to emphasize its own aspects.

If the acupuncture training meets the Professional Training Profile
one can apply for accreditation at the Department of Education and Science. After
approval, the training contract below will be drawn up.
