Conditions for foreign documents

Individuals with foreign diplomas in the field of Western medical education must have these diplomas certified in the country where the diploma was obtained and evaluated by the IcDW.

All copies of foreign diplomas must be certified in the country where the diploma was obtained. The original diploma and a valid identification document must be presented at the NVA office. Additionally, certified translations in Dutch or English must be provided for all certified diplomas and/or certificates.

The diploma evaluation of Western medical education only involves a diploma comparison, sufficient for applying for NVA membership. If your nationality is from outside the European Union, you must include a copy of your residence permit with the application form.
