KAB dome
More and more health insurers require that healthcare providers or their professional organization are affiliated with an umbrella organization. Therefore, the NVA has established the Umbrella Alternative Treatment Methods together with several other professional organizations.
Every NVA member is a member of the KAB Umbrella Organization. For the benefit of the health insurers, the acupuncturist mentions his membership of the NVA and the KAB umbrella organization on his invoice.
Traditionally, the KAB was a complaints committee for alternative treatment methods. Since 2017, complaints are handled by dispute resolution bodies. The NVA is affiliated with the Healthcare Disputes Foundation. More information can be found under Complaints Procedure.
