KAB dome
More and more health insurers are requiring that healthcare providers or their professional organization are affiliated with an umbrella organization. Therefore, the NVA, together with a number of other professional organizations, has established the Umbrella Alternative Treatment Methods.
Each NVA member is a member of the KAB Umbrella Organization. For the benefit of health insurers, the acupuncturist mentions on his invoice the NVA membership and the KAB Umbrella Organization membership.
Traditionally, the KAB was a complaints committee for alternative treatment methods. Since 2017, complaints have been handled by dispute resolution bodies. The NVA is affiliated with the Healthcare Disputes Foundation. More information can be found under Complaints Procedure.
