Laser acupuncture

Laser acupuncture is a modern application that works according to the same principles as traditional acupuncture. The difference is that laser acupuncture does not use acupuncture needles.

How does laser acupuncture work?

During a treatment, the acupuncture points are stimulated with a soft laser beam. The lasers used are so-called low-level lasers, or cold lasers. These do not produce heat. This is in contrast to the lasers used in conventional medicine, for example in surgery. These high-level lasers are used in medical procedures.
The laser beam in acupuncture is much gentler but can vary in strength and intensity. The acupuncturist adjusts this to your complaints. He also determines based on that how long the laser should be on.

When laser acupuncture?

Laser acupuncture can be applied to all complaints for which you visit an acupuncturist. It is mainly used when acupuncture needles cannot or may not be used. It is a good alternative for people who are afraid of needles but still want an acupuncture treatment.
