The Dutch Association for Acupuncture (NVA)  is the largest professional association for acupuncturists in our country. We operate with a dedicated team of 6 individuals at the secretariat in Amersfoort. The secretariat collaborates with around thirty volunteers (acupuncturists) within the association.

Job Vacancy: Member Administration & Secretariat Staff (24 hours)
Start date: July 1, 2026

What will you do?
As a Member Administration & Secretariat Staff
you are an indispensable link within the secretariat of the Dutch Association for Acupuncture (NVA). You work closely with colleagues in the secretariat and have regular contact with board members and volunteers. You are the first point of contact for members and ensure that member administration and secretarial processes run smoothly and accurately.

Your tasks include, among others:
- Member Administration: processing registrations and cancellations, changes, and membership fee data in the CRM system (AccountView);
- Member Service: answering member inquiries via phone and email in a friendly and professional manner;
- Secretarial Support: assisting the secretariat and office manager with administrative and financial tasks;
- Correspondence: managing incoming and outgoing communication with members, volunteers, and external parties;
- Activity Support: providing administrative support for meetings such as the General Members' Meeting and other association activities;
Archiving and File Management: ensuring correct and clear documentation of data.

You will take over the tasks from a very experienced staff member who is retiring after a long tenure and passing the baton. During the onboarding period with this colleague, there will be a strong focus on transferring knowledge, work methods, and background information, so you can fulfill your role independently and confidently.

is the largest professional association for acupuncturists in the Netherlands. From our secretariat in Amersfoort, we support our members and collaborate with about thirty volunteers (acupuncturists) within the association.

The NVA is committed to the recognition, quality, and visibility of acupuncture as a treatment method. The secretariat plays a central role in this, both in internal organization and in external communication.

Your Profile
You are meticulous, service-oriented, and enjoy working in a supportive role where reliability and continuity are important. You appreciate clear processes, work accurately with data and figures, and gain energy from helping others.

We ask for:
- MBO+ work and thinking level;
- Proven experience in an administrative and/or secretarial role;
- Experience with member administration and affinity with financial administration, such as invoicing, payments, and auditing tasks;
- Good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English;
- Excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills. Experience with CRM systems and accounting software is a plus;
- You reside in the Amersfoort area;
- A structured, accurate, and reliable working style;
- Affinity with the objectives of a professional association and/or complementary care is a plus.
