Maya Fridman and Erich Berghammer
Maya Fridman is known for her
passionate performances with a unique blend of styles and genres.
Her concerts delve into deeper philosophical themes; her recordings focus on the evolution of contemporary music for cello and voice.
In 2019, Maya won the coveted Dutch Classical Talent Award. She was Artist in Residence at TivoliVredenburg in the 2020/2021 theater season.
Erich Berghammer coined the term Aroma Jockey in 2002. He aims to push the boundaries of performing arts and translate music into scent during live events. "My biggest inspiration was that scent is an unseen, almost non-existent medium."
Only a few creative minds dare to see scent as an artistic expression. He has been performing as a scent artist for 20 years under his stage name ODO7.

Imagine this: as you focus on the first cello notes, a scent sensation drifts in towards your nostrils. You breathe in and out, you relax and yet are tensely expectant, your senses fully alert. An immersion in experiencing and marveling, like a warm current to drift along with.
