Step 1: Acupuncture training
The general meeting establishes a number of standards that a responsible acupuncture training program must meet at a minimum. At least one of these standards concerns Chinese philosophy, on which the practice of acupuncture should be based.
Upon completion of the acupuncture training, one must also have completed an internship. Information about the internship requirement can be found in the section 'becoming a member'.
