Experiences with acupuncture in cancer
Six people share their story. All six were confronted with cancer and, during and after the (conventional) treatment process, with additional complaints such as fatigue, insomnia, pain, hot flashes, and so on. All six ended up at an acupuncturist, often on the advice of the oncologist or the nurse.
All six have experienced what acupuncture did for them and they talk about it in a video recorded for the NVA. Especially to point this out to others.
Watch and listen in our new section to what experts have to say, via the link in the bottom left corner. And learn more about the developments and the increasing collaboration between oncologists, oncology nurses, and NVA acupuncturists. Two of the six videos, featuring the stories of Elles and Jur, will also be posted on www.kanker.nl.
Make an appointment
If you are currently dealing with this situation yourself, consider making an appointment with an acupuncturist in your area. There's a good chance you'll navigate this period in your life a little easier.
