In addition to running, weightlifting, and of course cycling, world cycling champion Mathieu van der Poel also uses acupuncture (dry needling) in preparing for his new season.
Van der Poel has been dealing with back problems regularly over the past two years. To prevent this injury in the future, he is receiving dry needling treatments.
The cyclo-cross season is approaching, hopefully acupuncture will do its job and we will see Mathieu frequently on the podium!
