Your acupuncturist breathed a sigh of relief when Prime Minister Rutte finished listing the new measures against the second wave of the Coronavirus during the press conference on October 13th. Contact professions, including acupuncturists, do not seem to cause infection clusters and remain unaffected.

Partial Lockdown
The measures are aimed at limiting social contact moments and travel movements. The government is working on legislation to be able to mandate the wearing of non-medical face masks when moving in public spaces. In our practices, the urgent advice has already been: face masks for both the practitioner and for you, in the interest of both your health and to prevent the spread of the virus. And of course, the normal measures such as canceling your appointment if you have symptoms that could indicate a coronavirus infection, washing hands, and keeping a distance.
