Back in time
Almost 70 (!) years ago, in 1956, an article appeared in the magazine Panorama with the title 'Healed by Needles'. It tells, among other things, the story of Hans, a fireman on a steam locomotive, who develops back problems due to his physically demanding job.
Thanks to a perfectly timed encounter with an old school friend, Hans ends up at a mysterious German doctor who practices a secretive healing method involving needles.
The text beautifully reflects the spirit of the time and also shows how much more familiar and accepted acupuncture has become over time! One of the NVA members shared the article, you can find it in the attachment below.
