Differences between man and woman
Wonderful how things sometimes come together. Coincidence? At the moment our brochure man/woman is ready, an article appears in De Volkskrant about a certain type of heart attack that occurs relatively often in women and for which the treatment leaves something to be desired because doctors do not recognize the symptoms and prescribe medications that do not seem to work. One of the important findings from the article is that women react differently to stress than men and that this can cause health problems that are not understood by doctors.
Our healthcare is largely based on the knowledge we have about how a male body works, which is different from how a female body functions. Fortunately, there is increasing attention to the differences between men and women (and between people in general) when it comes to health, as also evidenced by the publication of the Volkskrant article.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there has always been a lot of attention to the differences between men and women. One of the key principles is that no person is the same and each person needs a tailor-made treatment. The difference between men and women is a fundamental aspect. In our new brochure man/woman you can read all about it!
