World Menopause Day October 19, 2024
October 19 has been declared World Menopause Day by the World Health Organization. This day draws attention globally to the health and well-being of women in menopausal age.
Because the transition can bring a range of unpleasant physical and emotional symptoms, such as hot flashes, sleep problems, and mood swings, it is important that there is good support available during this stage of life. This way, the transition can become a period of growth and development, rather than a deep pool of misery.
At the Dutch Association for Acupuncture, there is a lot of attention and expertise in the field of (peri)menopause, menopausal symptoms, and everything related to women's health.
If you are experiencing symptoms in this area, our acupuncturists are happy to support you!
