Lifestyle against COVID-19

Healthy eating, enough sleep, peace of mind. Important aspects to make your body and mind resilient. Regular and alternative doctors, therapists, and bloggers wholeheartedly agree on this. Lifestyle as medicine! It's nice to know how you can make yourself stronger, so your own defenses better protect you against the coronavirus.
Viewed from Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are three areas in our body affected by the virus. The most prominent is the lung area. That's where the body's fight against the virus is most evident.
Respiration
The lungs, together with the heart, are responsible for distributing energy throughout the body. For this, a free respiration is important, one that does not remain stuck high in your chest, but also moves your belly. This creates a sense of space in your body and in your mind. An emotion like sadness often feels less oppressive as a result. Or the tears come, which can literally be a relief.
Digestive Power
The second area, between our navel and ribs, houses our digestive power. Our food is converted there into usable energy to nourish and sustain our body. Incorrect diet and emotions, such as anger and worrying, can disrupt this process.
Essential Power
Our most basic line of defense is located in the area below the navel. This area is connected to our origin, our essential source. Here we find the power to face this time of great crisis flexibly. Sometimes, however, all the external stimuli can cause a lot of unrest or fear, as so many certainties disappear.
