Associate membership
The Affiliate Membership (in the Netherlands or abroad) is intended for acupuncturists who meet all admission and training requirements but are not (yet) practicing or have temporarily ceased their practice.
As an Affiliate Member, you are entitled to the following:
- attending the annual general meeting and you have voting rights
- the association magazine the Huang Ti. You will receive this four times a year
- the Starter's Guide for (re)starting your practice
- the professional profile of NVA acupuncturists
Sanction
Affiliate Membership can also be imposed by the NVA for not meeting (for example) the continuing education requirement. Treatments will no longer be reimbursed by health insurers.
