Foreign diplomas
Individuals with foreign diplomas in Western medical education and/or acupuncture training must have these diplomas certified in the country where the diploma was obtained and have them evaluated/comparable by the IcDW.
All copies of foreign diplomas must be certified in the country where the diploma was obtained. The original diploma and a valid identification document must be presented at the NVA office. Additionally, sworn translations in Dutch or English must be provided for all certified diplomas and/or certificates.
IcDW
For more information on diploma evaluation and/or education comparison, please contact the IcDW [1](Information Center for Diploma Evaluation). The diploma evaluation for Western medical education involves solely a diploma comparison, sufficient for NVA membership application.
