Step 2: Check previous education
Until June 1, 2018, the NVA required a regular Western (para)medical education, at least at HBO level, as an admission requirement.
From June 2018, acupuncturists who have completed or are completing at least a CPION-recognized MBK of 40 ECTS credits will also be admitted. However, they must undergo additional WM training during the first registration period of the practicing membership.
