Praktijk Naphausen

My name is Hans Naphausen. In 1975 I graduated as a physiotherapist from the Leffelaar training in Amsterdam. Because I wanted to explore beyond conventional medicine and my interest was in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), in 1977 I started the acupuncture training provided by the NVVF. After obtaining the A, B, and C diplomas, I further specialized in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the European University of Traditional Medicine (EUTCM).

As the borders with China opened in the 1980s, a lot of original knowledge came to Europe and it became possible to do an internship in China. Slowly, valuable information and knowledge also became available in the field of herbal medicine. In the pioneering phase of TCM in the Netherlands/Europe, I gained a lot of knowledge through my involvement as a teacher at EUTCM and the resulting contacts with Chinese professors, educational institutions, teachers, and herbal importers/suppliers.

Now, over forty years later, the passion and interest in this form of medicine are still fully present. In recent years, I have focused particularly on the Balance Method of Dr. Tan/Dr. Tung. This globally applied method is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. The principle is to balance the energy in the body meridians, reducing or eliminating (pain) complaints. The effect of this method is immediately noticeable. Generally, a quick and good result is achieved.

In addition, I can perform an EMB test (an energetic morphological blood test): this provides a lot of information about the physical and energetic state of your body and can serve as a basis for further dietary, supplementation, and lifestyle advice.
