The Water Element and winter: a season to reflect upon
Out and about
A brisk walk, a game of football with the (grand)kids, badminton at the campsite, or a jog around the park. During the holidays, we tend to be more active and often more intensely than usual.
Injuries are lurking
That’s when things can go wrong. We skip the warm-up, overdo it, or get a little too enthusiastic. The result: an injury. A twisted ankle, overworked knee, sore shoulder, or a stiff back. At first, rest, ice, a bit of ointment, and moving with care can help. In many cases, that’s enough for recovery.
But what if the symptoms don’t go away?
Acupuncture for (sports) injuries
If you’re still struggling with an injury, whether you're a casual or competitive athlete, it may be time to visit an acupuncturist. Acupuncture can support a faster and more complete recovery, either on its own or alongside treatments like physiotherapy.
