Acupuncture effective on many points

Find an acupuncturist

Yes - I have a diploma from one of the above courses.

You are not eligible for membership directly because you do not meet the requirements regarding the acupuncture training.

A. If the Education and Science department (O&W) believes that your qualifications meet the NVA Professional Profile, except that the acupuncture training was not completed at an NVA-recognized institution, it will provide the Core Board with advice on your admission to NVA membership, possibly subject to additional training requirements to be determined. The Core Board will then decide whether the admission process can proceed.

B. O&W can, after evaluating the curriculum documentation (content and study load) of the completed (non-recognized) acupuncture training, decide that you must take a test/acupuncture exam for the acupuncture part of the training at a acupuncture training recognized by the NVA. Exemptions may be granted if applicable.

C. If A and B do not apply, you will still need to complete a full acupuncture study at an acupuncture training recognized by the NVA and successfully complete it to qualify for NVA membership.

The above points also apply if you have obtained a non-recognized acupuncture diploma abroad.
See conditions for foreign diplomas.
