After completing my medical studies and then the general practitioner training, I worked in regular healthcare and taught at the nursing school. But I often felt that I couldn't do enough for many people, that I was giving them symptomatic treatment without being able to address the underlying cause.

By chance, I read a book about acupuncture, my interest was piqued. I started the acupuncture training and in 2000 started my laser acupuncture practice. I still do this with great pleasure and success, especially because you can combat acute complaints in many people and do more for those with chronic or unexplained complaints than just symptom relief. You can often make their condition more bearable, which clearly improves their quality of life. Additionally, I spend more time with my clients than is possible in regular healthcare.

I do not work with needles but with lasers. This is safe, painless, and effective. In addition to and in support of acupuncture, I also provide local laser therapy, which can be used to treat muscles, tendons, joints, skin, etc. locally and enhances the effect of the treatment.
