I'm going on a trip and taking with me...the TCG!
The holiday mood is already strong in many. Trips are booked, suitcases packed, new passports requested at the last minute.
Holidays are wonderful, but oh...that jet lag, or those swollen ankles...summer ailments unfortunately do not always stay at home!
Because we want you to have a carefree, vital summer, you will receive the TCG summer ailments first aid kit from us.
Acupressure for travel and vacation ailments
The knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can be very useful.
You can think of acupressure points as a kind of first aid kit that is always available, takes up no space in your suitcase, and is easy to apply. This way, you can support yourself and others with unpleasant summer ailments. Handy!
How to use acupressure points
Make sure you are sitting or lying comfortably and take some time to relax. Place your thumb or fingers on the acupuncture point and massage it with a gentle, circular motion. You can slowly increase the pressure, but avoid pain. Stay alert to how your body responds and massage for between 30 seconds and a few minutes.
If you don't feel any effect, it may mean you are not quite on the acupuncture point. Explore the surrounding area a bit and see if you notice anything nearby. Of course, it may be that another point works better for your symptoms, and your acupuncturist knows that better than anyone else! So if you're still not sure, ask your acupuncturist for tips on building a valuable self-care kit.
