Acupressure for Travel and Holiday Ailments
The knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can be very useful.
Acupressure points can be seen as a kind of first aid kit that is always available, takes up no space in your suitcase, and is easy to apply. This way, you can support yourself and others with unpleasant summer ailments. Handy!

How to Use Acupressure Points
Make sure you are sitting or lying comfortably and take some time to relax. Place your thumb or fingers on the acupuncture point and massage it with a gentle, circular motion. You can slowly increase the pressure, but avoid causing pain. Stay attentive to how your body responds and massage for between 30 seconds and a few minutes.
If you don't feel any effect, it may mean you are not quite on the acupuncture point. Explore the surrounding area a bit and see if you notice anything nearby. Of course, it could be that another point works better for your symptoms, and your acupuncturist knows best! So if you're still unsure, ask your acupuncturist for tips to build a valuable self-care kit.
