My name is Karin Drent and I am your practitioner at Roots Acupuncture. I have always been interested in well-being and health. In 1992, I started studying physiotherapy and subsequently Mensendieck therapy. Since the late '90s, I have worked in a nursing home, had my own practice for a few years, and worked in the corporate world as a prevention and reintegration therapist.

As I delved more into the holistic view of health, I found myself on the path of Chinese Medicine. This feels like an enrichment for me as a person and as a practitioner!

What appeals to me most in practicing this profession is that, besides the interaction with clients, there is no standard treatment. Together with you, we will determine what is necessary to achieve the desired result.
