My name is Harry Geurkink. As co-founder of De Romei Therapy and Training in Zevenaar, I have been an acupuncturist since 1986 and at that time followed the training at the NAAV (Dutch Physicians and Acupuncture Association). It is my passion to bring together East and West in healthcare. After completing my studies at the University of Leuven, I also realized this in scientific research. This year (October 2020) we are starting a new study on the iceman method of Wim Hof. How do we improve the immune system so that symptoms decrease or disappear is the research question. I am mainly involved with the musculoskeletal system, neurology, and the immune system.
