Ten years ago I came into contact with acupuncture and that strongly piqued my interest. At that time, I was working for a large accounting firm and was also studying to become a Chartered Accountant. The combination of these factors, along with the birth of our beautiful daughter, became too much for me and I ended up in a burnout. Thanks in part to the acupuncture treatments, I was able to recover. This experience has given me many insights into shaping my future, and I made the decision to stop my studies. However, I was determined to resume studying at a later time. When that moment finally arrived, I became aware that my intrinsic motivation is not always stimulated in the financial world. This led me to broaden my horizons and explore beyond just the financial sector. After sharing my thoughts at home, I was pointed towards a completely different course of study: acupuncture. Given my previous experience with it and my curiosity about it, I enthusiastically started the training. As soon as I began the training to become an acupuncturist, I knew right away: this is right. And now, since January 2020, I am the proud owner of my own practice: Acupuncture Practice Doornenburg
