Background
My name is Caroline Albers. As a twenty-something, I came into contact with acupuncture. Time and time again, I was amazed by the beneficial and spectacular effects of the therapy and became intrigued by the Chinese medicine and philosophy that underlie it: ancient knowledge of humans and nature that is still surprisingly relevant. And that enables the body to solve problems on its own. A natural approach without side effects.

The beauty is that you can endlessly delve into acupuncture and always discover new things. And because I prefer to work where people are at the center, I decided to pursue acupuncture training. I completed the bachelor's degree in classical acupuncture at the Academy for Chinese Medicine Qing-Bai. After that, I attended various postgraduate courses to maintain and further develop my practical and theoretical skills. I took courses in pain treatment, ear acupuncture, gynecology, nutrition, and cosmetic acupuncture. In my practice in Amstelveen, I work together with two acupuncturists/physiotherapists and we share knowledge and experience daily.

Specialization
My affinity lies with complaints that many women face throughout their lives: hormonal complaints, weight problems, stress and insomnia, fatigue, and skin aging. In addition to acupuncture treatment, I provide supportive information in the form of booklets and flyers.
