Praktijk voor Acupunctuur Nuijten

My name is Rian Nuijten. I graduated as a physiotherapist in Breda in 1990. From 1993 to 1999, I worked as a physiotherapist in the United States, and then back in the Netherlands.

In addition to physiotherapy, I have always been interested in acupuncture. In 2003, I started the NAAS training and completed it in 2006. Acupuncture is a great addition to my work as a physiotherapist. With this, I can successfully treat complaints of people who have been to various doctors and therapists without results. Over time, I have noticed that ear acupuncture suits me very well, which is why I also did a training in auricular acupuncture. This allows you to objectify the treatment more for the patients through measurement.

Working as a physiotherapist and acupuncturist, nutrition and lifestyle advice became increasingly important. To acquire more knowledge, I completed the training to become an orthomolecular therapist at the Ortho Health Foundation in 2018 - 2019.
