Acupressure can help your body build energy and get it moving. Massaging the famous Three Mile Points, for example, gives you a solid energy boost. It is no coincidence that the points owe their name to the distance exhausted soldiers from the ancient Chinese army could cover after massaging them: three miles! 

The points are located on the arm and on the leg and have almost the same name: Arm-3-mile point and Leg-3-mile point. By massaging both points (both left and right) every morning and evening for two minutes with gentle circular movements, you will soon notice that you feel more energetic.

The Arm-3-mile point is located
on top of the forearm, on the imaginary line between the thumb and the outside of the elbow.
The point is at a distance of two fingers from the elbow.

The Leg-3-milestone is located
on the outside of the lower leg, just below the knee.

To enhance the power of these points, it is wise to also massage another point: the third point of the liver meridian. This helps to set the energy in motion. Think of the effect of exercising when you feel tired, not from exhaustion, but from stress or lounging on the couch.

Liver 3 of Tai Chong. This is located on the foot, just before the meeting of the metatarsal bones of the big toe and the second toe.

The most well-known acupuncture point is Large Intestine 4 or He Gu. It has an analgesic effect. Together with Liver 3 or Tai Chong, it strongly moves the energy.

He Gu is located on the back of the hand, on the soft flesh between the thumb and index finger. And preferably on the highest point that arises when you press your thumb and index finger together.
