Frank's points
In this series, acupuncturist Frank Roosen describes the acupuncture points from their philosophical background. The result is a beautiful collection
of texts that provide a lot of insight into the human growth process.
Introduction to the series
The well-known acupuncture meridians contain a total of 361 acupuncture points.
All these points have an influence on the human body. The functions of these points can be described in various ways; from medical-technical and scientific to mental and philosophical. Some acupuncture points are used more frequently than others. They are located at special junctions in the body that have a significant impact on the rest. Each acupuncture point has a name that speaks volumes about its function. Sometimes it describes its location in relation to anatomical structures such as major bones or blood vessels. But in many cases, they are philosophical names that are connected to the culture of ancient China, in which humans were seen as a reflection of nature.
These names contain a wealth of information. This makes it possible to perceive the body from a perspective of beauty rather than just functionality. By gaining insight into this philosophical wisdom, it has become increasingly possible for me to help people rediscover their peace and balance more quickly, so that they can ultimately live in accordance with their true nature.
