TCG for everyday
Because Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) carries so much wisdom, we would like to use our blog to share this wisdom with you. And we are not referring to the beautiful quotes of the ancient Chinese masters. No, we are talking about practical wisdom. About tips and facts that can help alleviate many everyday complaints. For example, we want to tell you how you can apply acupressure when you have a stiff neck. Or how you can address your insomnia with the right nutrition. For this series - TCM for everyday life - we have invited an acupuncturist who not only shares this wisdom but also her years of practical experience with you:
My name is Sandra Mars.
I have been working full-time as an acupuncturist for over twenty years. I studied at the Dutch Academy for Natural Medicine in Hilversum and the European University for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Utrecht.
I have delved into various forms of acupuncture to alleviate as many complaints as possible. Due to the different techniques I apply, I never have a dull day in the practice. The patients also provide a lot of variety; my youngest patient is one week old and my oldest patient is ninety years old. This ensures that I enjoy my work every day.
In addition to treating people, I enjoy writing articles about acupuncture and related topics, for magazines and for the professional journal of the NVA.
I have also written self-help books to raise awareness about acupuncture and to teach people how to alleviate everyday complaints with acupressure.
Just like this booklet, written for both laypeople and acupuncturists.
It categorizes children, adults, and
seniors according to the theory of the Five Elements. It offers TCM tips to enhance health.
