Why I chose acupuncture?

My name is Janet Jongeling-Speelman. At a young age, I knew I wanted to become a nurse. And so it happened. I even completed the training to become an ICU nurse, what a wonderful profession. But even during that development, I gradually discovered that the Western medical world often did not have answers to many things. 'Just learn to live with it' is a frequently mentioned statement. But is that so? This made me curious to look at things in a different way. And through retraining and personal experiences, I came into contact with acupuncture and thus with a different perspective on health. A world full of new possibilities opened up for me.
