Additional training upon registration
An additional requirement applies when admitting your membership if you have an older diploma or an expired BIG registration.
If you have a (Para) medical or CPION-recognized MBK diploma (40+ ECTS) older than 5 years, then you must:
From the date of admission, follow 1 WM day per elapsed year with a maximum of 3 days.
If you have a (Para) medical diploma and your BIG registration has expired, then you must follow 1 WM day per year from the expiration date of the BIG registration with a maximum of 3 days.
If your acupuncture diploma, recognized by us, is older than 1 year, then for each elapsed year, you must attend 2 NVA-approved professional development days with a maximum of 6 days.
Accreditation
Dutch Continuing Education: Accreditation is arranged between the Continuing Education department and contracted institutes. Different rules may apply for WM days (see member website).
Foreign Continuing Education: Individual requests must be submitted in a timely manner with all necessary information. Approved courses will appear in the member offerings and in the Huang Ti.
