My name is Suzanne de Groot, I live in Schiedam and have had my practice at home since June 1, 2019. Gong Sun Acupuncture!

The reason I decided to pursue acupuncture training arose after my first visits to an acupuncturist. At that time, I was studying Shiatsu therapy and became so enthusiastic that I changed course and enrolled in the acupuncture training at Qing Bai in Breda.

I completed the training in 2018 and in March 2019, I officially received my diploma as an acupuncturist.

The practice is mainly focused on women and the issues that women face, such as menstrual complaints, menopausal symptoms, as well as pregnancy issues and fertility problems. My area of expertise is menstrual pain and endometriosis. Additionally, I also provide cosmetic acupuncture treatments.

I chose gynecology because I have personally experienced a lot in terms of endometriosis and all the associated troubles. I would like to make that more bearable for other women. During my studies and internships, I have seen and learned how much acupuncture can mean for women in all stages of life. For me, this is a good reason to focus on women and start working in this field.
