Complaints Officer
The NVA has a complaints officer available who can help clarify what you want to achieve with your complaint and the pros and cons of the various complaint options at an early stage. The request for the complaints officer to contact you is made through the NVA secretariat.

Just for completeness, we list all complaint options here.
In addition to the accessible complaint procedure according to the Wkkgz (1) and the appeal to the Disciplinary College of the NVA (2), there are still the complaint options (3) and (4).

(1) A client can choose to submit a Wkkgz complaint to the healthcare provider. This can be an institution or an independently working healthcare provider. See Complaints Procedure for more information.

(2) A client may choose to file a complaint against the healthcare provider (NVA member) in accordance with the NVA's Disciplinary Law.
Refer to Disciplinary Law by the Supervisory Board of the NVA.

(3) If the healthcare provider is BIG-registered, a client can choose to file a complaint with the Regional Medical Disciplinary Tribunal

(4) A client can also turn to the civil court. In some cases, it is conceivable (depending on the client's claim) that the court will refer back to one of the other procedures.
