Mariska Vet worked as a dentist for 21 years. Through her contacts with her patients, she realized that oral health is only a small part of overall health during those years. She increasingly felt the need to focus on the whole person. Therefore, she went in search of a way to broaden her perspective and expand her knowledge and skills to help people with complaints and problems of the entire person, rather than just in the mouth.

In 2010, she started the training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the TCMA. Here she studied with great dedication, pleasure, and success: she graduated with honors.

In her practice Acupuncture Maarssen, she works with great enthusiasm with people on the path to health.
