My name is Nienke Smulders. During my years of work as a general practitioner, my interest in a more holistic perspective grew, and I started following the acupuncture training at the Qing-Bai Academy. In my opinion, the combination of knowledge of Western and Eastern medicine is very valuable and applicable in practice. Acupuncture can be given as a complementary treatment alongside Western medical treatments. It gives me satisfaction to be able to truly make a difference for the patients.
