My name is Annemieke Wieman and I have been working as a physiotherapist for over twenty years now, practicing my profession with great passion. Since 2020, I have been able to expand my practice to include acupuncture. Acupuncture has always appealed to me because I have personally been treated with good results. Being trained in both Eastern and Western medicine allows me to treat certain conditions with good outcomes. East and West complement each other nicely. 

Over the years, I have gained a lot of experience with sports-related injuries. I have worked with the junior teams at FC Utrecht for several years. Additionally, I have extensive experience with orthopedic issues such as hips, knees, cruciate ligaments, shoulders, and back problems (both in hospitals and in private practice).

For the past ten years, I have also been using dry needling and have noticed that it quickly alleviates pain. I can now switch between techniques; if acupuncture is a better approach, I recommend that method. I am very eager to learn and will always strive to further develop myself in order to help my patients as best as I can.
