My name is Gerda van de Rijt-Waals. I chose the profession of acupuncturist because I have personally experienced that acupuncture greatly improved the quality of my life. The conviction was complete when my husband, who had suffered a whiplash from an accident, also consulted an acupuncturist for his complaints. This acupuncturist visited our home, providing me with a great opportunity to ask as many questions as possible about her profession.

Completely convinced that I also wanted to pursue the direction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I started looking for a training. Now, more than seventeen years later, I still start the workweek with great passion in my practice every Monday.
