My name is Carla van de Kamp, born in 1958. The foundation for my work was laid at the Deventer Academy for Physiotherapy. After obtaining my diploma in 1980, I worked for 25 years in various practices. In this field, I focused mainly on the treatment of conditions where different massage techniques were the best treatment method. This led to additional specializations in scar treatments, edema therapy, and reflex zone therapy. Additionally, I have guided many children with motor developmental disorders and learning problems using sensorimotor therapy.

During my work, I discovered the fascinating world of the meridian system, life energy, and the connection of humans with nature and the cosmos. I experienced this as an essential basis for health, individual development, and growth opportunities for humans.

After various courses in Meridian Therapy by Christel Heidemann, I started studying acupuncture at the International Free University in Maastricht and obtained my master's degree in 1996. For my thesis, I chose 'anxiety, phobia, and acupuncture'. After completing my studies, I worked in my own acupuncture and meridian therapy practice in Muiderberg until our move to Oldemarkt in January 2009. There, I immediately resumed work. I have since gained broad experience in treating patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly; treating complaints of both temporary, acute, and chronic nature. As indicated in traditional, classical acupuncture, I reassess the entire energy balance for each treatment and thus develop a unique treatment for each individual.
