Types of membership
The association offers four types of membership with specific rights and requirements:
- Student Membership (for students)
- Practicing Membership
- Affiliate Membership (non-practicing)
- Senior Membership (non-practicing, from retirement age)
Cancelling in the meantime?
Membership runs per calendar year and therefore cannot be cancelled in the meantime. However, it is possible to transfer between different memberships within a current year.
KAB, ETCMA and WFAS
Members of the NVA are affiliated with the Knowledge Centre for Alternative Treatment Methods (KAB) and the international umbrella organization European TCM Association (ETCMA) through their membership. The NVA is also affiliated with the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS).
