My name is Marian Blaak. After working as a nurse for thirty years in various specialties, especially in emergency care on the ambulance and in the ICU, it was time for me to change course. My concern for people's well-being remains unchanged, but now in a way that does more justice to the whole story. And where there is more time for contact and deepening.

Why did I choose acupuncture?
Once I went to an acupuncturist with a complaint. To my surprise, my complaint disappeared afterwards. This intrigued me so much that I decided to delve into it. My curiosity only grew and in 2013 I started the acupuncture training at TCMA in Utrecht. It was there that I truly discovered the possibilities of acupuncture.

Vision
Whereas my work used to mainly involve acutely solving a medical, often life-threatening problem, through acupuncture I discovered that a person can be thrown off balance by multiple factors. In addition to treating symptoms, I now also look at the cause and try to map it out together with the patient. This way, a positive treatment result can also be a long-lasting one.

I am still amazed by all the things that can be treated and changed with acupuncture, with incredibly beautiful results.
