Acupunctuurpraktijk Jan Joost Kolsteeg

My interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine arose during my internship period of the physiotherapy education in 1987. One of my supervisors was, besides a physiotherapist, an acupuncturist. Where physiotherapy treatments fell short, he achieved very good results with his needles. Deeply impressed, I immediately knew that this had not come on my path for nothing. After completing my physiotherapy education, I started studying Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Nei Tsjing Foundation in Utrecht.

After four intensive and interesting study years, I started building my practice in 1992. Since then, I have developed a specific interest in treating complaints that arise during and around pregnancy, in treating sports injuries, and I have gained a special focus on treating various types of headaches.
