Actually, I started in China as a doctor (anesthesiologist) based on Western medicine. However, as students at the time, we also received training in Traditional Chinese Medicine as part of our education. In the Netherlands, I had more opportunity to further immerse myself in this and later started applying it in my own practice. It is the satisfaction I get from the positive feedback from my patients that motivates me to improve even more.
