Wim Haafkes (1960) is a naturopath, acupuncturist, and homeopath. Working with various forms of natural medicine since 1986, with 34 years of experience.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) means to me that I try to make people aware of their health and weaknesses. I like to show what you can achieve with natural (complementary) medicines. Advocate of 'rethinking' but mainly advising on solutions and first laying the foundation for better health through nutrition and lifestyle, then comes the therapy.

The health of my parents was my biggest motivation to choose this profession. When I was seventeen, I was told that my father had (esophageal) cancer. My mother has had joint problems her whole life and has suffered a lot of pain from rheumatoid arthritis.

I am married and have three children. In my free time, I regularly exercise and move. I enjoy walking and cycling. This helps me clear my mind. I have traveled a lot, to places like Nepal, Laos, New Zealand, and India. This has allowed me to learn a lot about other cultures. I can use this knowledge not only on a personal level but also in my work. I love expanding my knowledge. Every year, I make sure to continue my education to enhance my expertise. That is self-evident to me.
