My name is Marlon Tjin-A-Koeng

After my bachelor's degree in pathology (1994), I started working in various hospitals and developed into a Pathology Assistant at Symbiant Alkmaar since 2009, where I still work two days a week.

In 2008, I completed the acupuncture study at the Shenzhou University in Amsterdam. I now have my own practice, three days a week. I have also completed various courses to become a comprehensive TCM therapist, such as herbal medicine and tuina. My practice is also a training company; I have many interns whom I guide further.

From 2014 to 2020, I was a lecturer in acupuncture and tuina at the Shenzhou University in Amsterdam. In 2020, I became a lecturer at the Dutch Acupuncture Academy in Amsterdam. Since 1984, I have been dedicating my free time to Shaolin Kung Fu, where I also teach movement theory, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi.
