Ackrufy

Ackrufy is run by Desirée Lekkerkerker. After completing my physiotherapy studies in 2000, I started my career at private physiotherapy practices. Nowadays, I work at Cordaan. In my current job, I focus on physiotherapeutic treatments and fall prevention for people at risk of falling.

Within physiotherapy, I often encountered complaints that I couldn't explain from my profession. As physiotherapists, we focus on bones and muscles.

Therefore, after seven years of physiotherapy, I decided to start at Hwa To University with an acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine training. Through this training, I look much more at the person as a whole and not just at bones and muscles.

In 2010, I graduated and started my practice at home. Acupuncture is a great addition for me. Nowadays, I regularly assist children, pregnant women or women who want to become pregnant, athletes, and people with burnout symptoms.

By combining my background and experience in physiotherapy with my knowledge and expertise in acupuncture, I offer my clients an optimal treatment for their complaints.
