My name is Igor Bouwens. After studying Traditional Thai Massage in Chiang Mai (Thailand), I decided to delve into Eastern medicine. In addition to Thai Massage, I have studied Ayurvedic teachings and yoga philosophy, and I practice ashtanga yoga daily. However, it is Chinese medicine that interests me the most. In the Netherlands, I have completed shiatsu and acupuncture training. I have also delved into Japanese acupuncture from Toyohari and Kiiko Matsumoto. In recent years, I have focused on the teachings of Dr. Tan and DNA-MPA by Robert Doane. Both methods work well for pain complaints and also for the conditions for which the WHO indicates that acupuncture is helpful. I have personally received lessons from both gentlemen. My partner is an herbalist and acupuncturist, allowing us to offer a complete package.
